Losing both of my parents at an early age taught me that every situation is unique — and uniquely challenging. Many lawyers will say they know how you feel, but I understand that true empathy means respecting your unique emotions and circumstances. After all, no two families are the same, and no two losses are the same.
What our family went through wasn't unusual. It was ordinary: a simple estate, a court calendar that moved at its own pace, fees that grew with the value of the house instead of the work involved, and nobody who would tell us plainly what was happening or what would come next. Years passed. So did a lot of money.
That's why I started this firm: to help other families avoid the unnecessary nightmare my family went through. It's about giving peace of mind to you now, and ease of mind to your children when you're gone.

What “Certified Specialist” actually means.
The State Bar of California's Legal Specialization program certifies attorneys who have practiced substantially in a field for years, passed a separate written examination in that field, completed additional continuing education, and been evaluated by peers and judges. Dave holds that certification in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law.
